Gary Hooper claimed a double as Celtic reclaimed top spot in the Scottish Premier League with a comfortable 3-1 win over Hibernian.
Celtic could have taken the lead after 30 seconds when Hooper and Stokes linked up before unleashing the shot that was blocked bravely by Mark Brown.
The Hoops were ahead after four minutes when Emilio Izaguirre supplied the pass for Stokes and he sent an angled drive into the bottom corner.
Hooper got Celtic's second from the spot after Scott gave away a penalty for a challenge on Celtic captain Brown in the 20th minute.The highly rated Englishman got his second of the game on 39 minutes when a through ball from Stokes was met by Hooper and he slotted it past the keeper.
The hosts continued to attack and Loovens headed wide before Forrest and Izaguirre both were unable to score.
Hibs could have scored as Vaz Te beat the offside trap to test Forster, who could only parry wide for a corner.He should have scored but he Vaz Te headed an easy chance wide of Forster's left-hand post.
Former Celtic player Riordan sprang into action and struck for goal from 18 yards out, Forster knocked it out for a corner.
Hibs got a breakthough after 67 minutes when Wotherspoon went down in the Celtic penalty area after a challenge from Mulgrew and another former Celtic midfielder Miller stepped up and coolly lobbed the ball past Forster.
Hooper missed his chance to get a hattrick when Celtic were awarded another penalty but was unable to convert it just a few minutes from time.
So Celtic go back to top of the league just 24hours after Rangers took advantage.
