Celtic Return Fire With A 4-0 Hammering Of Kilmarnock.

Celtic reduced Rangers' lead at the top of the league table to one point with an impressive victory at Kilmarnock.

They started as they meant to go on with just four minutes played when Izaguirre laid off to Hooper on the left, who then set up Commons on the edge of the box and the midfielder struck past Anssi Jaakkola in the Kilmarnock goal.

Silva tested keeper Fraser Forster in the 17th minute from a narrow angle on the left-hand side, but the keeper made an easy save as Killie failed to create many chances.

A scramble in the Killie goalmouth ended when Liam Kelly made a vital clearance near the half hour mark.

Commons slid in to win the ball from James Fowler then blasted in his second of the evening from 16 yards.

Hooper netted his 18th goal of the season, collecting from Stokes, before going past Killie defenders and firing in from the edge of the penalty area.

Stokes finally got his reward for his hard work during the game after 58 minutes to seal the game.
