SFA Tie Up Extra Income With Uefa Over TV Deal.

The Scottish Football Association will be seeing a boost in funds after a new four-year broadcasting deal with Uefa was agreed.

European football's governing body will control the broadcast rights for games involving its 53 member countries from 2014 and sell the rights centrally.

The SFA's current broadcast deal is with IMG, which sells on rights for home games and the Scottish Cup.

The new "mandate" will generate additional income for the SFA for the Euro 2016 and World Cup 2018 campaigns.

A figure of £50m has been reported in some newspapers as the amount the SFA could earn from the agreement, an increase of about £4m on the existing deal with IMG.

I wonder how they will spend this extra money to improve our game....
